In the future, your coffee may soon be made and delivered by your favorite robot barista.  Wait… you can have it now by visiting CafeX in the Metreon shopping complex in San Francisco (as of January 2017).  And it costs less than a human barista making the same quality coffee at Starbucks, Peets or the other leading coffee chains.

Last week we woke up to a beautiful Sunday morning and the temperature was forecast to reach 90° that day. So my wife and I decided to go to Half Moon Bay Beach (in the San Francisco Bay Area).

As we were driving to the beach, we decided to stop at the new Dunkin' Donuts (formerly Popeye’s fried chicken) that just opened up in Half Moon Bay, located at Hwy 92 and Hwy 1). 

We parked the car and got in line to buy some coffee and donuts.  While we we're standing there, I realized that I had left my wallet and all my money sitting on my desk at home.  It turns out that my wife Alana also didn't bring her purse or any money.

Meditation and mindfulness is becoming mainstream in business as a way of helping professionals deal with the daily stress of work and personal lives in today’s chaotic world. A little realized business trend is training executives and employees how to reduce stress which in turn helps them to become more focused, productive and innovative. And compassionate.

One of the people leading this charge is Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, one of the world’s most successful business leaders - and a big fan of meditation and mindfulness. So much so that he recently put meditation rooms on every floor in his new prestigious Salesforce building in San Francisco. 

I attended a very interesting conference on Digital Transformation in San Francisco last month. During one of the sessions, a speaker made a very simple point that I jotted down and thought about on the way home later that day... and again over the next weekend. Here's what he said:
